The devil is a liar. Always has been, always will be. And yes, it's scriptural.

Many a saint will tell you that he is also crafty in an I-didn't-see-it-coming sort of way.

Much as I love a good movie, I have to confess that there have been quite a few "blockbusters" that either made no sense to me or were so tedious/convoluted, I gave up halfway through.

I’m embracing

About us

Is good and true

And already settled

In Heaven.

In the grand scheme

Of things?

Quite simply to

Worship. Pray. Love.

Unadulterated present?

Or reflections

Of inadequacy and doubt

Highlighting the unbearable

And belonging to

Times gone by…

Like all Nigerians, I come from a large family. Qualified thus because even if you're the only child of only children, it’s a given that your parents have a dozen cousins each who themselves have enough offspring to match the gene pool of the most fertile of traditional rulers.
